Bridge Centre

Our vision at Smithy Bridge church is to serve our neighbours, not simply on a Sunday but throughout the week, in ways that local people need us to.

To do so we will develop a new community building on the site of our current Bridge charity shop. We believe this accords with a word from God that was given to us, to "build my church".

March 2012 PLANNING PERMISSION HAS BEEN GRANTED. Praise God that He continues to bless the project and we pray for rapid progress so we can move forward in delivering his blessings to Smithy Bridge through the new centre.

In the coming months we will look closely at where God is leading us, to provide services that will show His love to people in the local neighbourhood and beyond. We have ideas already of the kind of services we can offer, and what others we would wish to attract to the centre.

In time we also wish to improve our current church building, to better serve the needs of everyone using the building, for worship, for social events and other meetings.
