As Christians we are part of a worldwide church, and we have a responsibility for our community; in Smithy Bridge, in the borough of Rochdale, in our country and in our world.

We are a praying church recognising the power that God gives us when we bring our prayers to him. God also calls us to be people of action, sharing the Good News from God in practical help and support for all our neighbours.

Open Doors is a charity that campaigns to protect God's people facing persecution throughout the world.

Through Compassion UK our church is sponsoring one young man in Kenya - read more of his story.

Mnyakongo primary school in central Tanzania was where one of our members studied as a child. Smithy Bridge has supported efforts to develop the school for the benefit of today's pupils. Find out more at the project's website.
